Powered by 4x AA batteries or a 24VAC C-wire; on batteries it will not repeat Z-Wave traffic, so wire the C for a responsive mesh. Joins with S2 authentication and SmartStart QR pairing. Modes are Off, Heat, Cool, Auto, and E-Heat, with Auto or On fan. It replaces the discontinued GoControl GC-TBZ48 in the same panel channel, but it is a new 700-series platform rather than a rebadge. The minimum rest time between heating cycles is 5 minutes, so expect Home Assistant setpoint changes to wait out that dwell.
