The first-generation Alarm.com thermostat, superseded by the ADC-T3000 but still on the wall in plenty of homes. It is Z-Wave Plus, so Z-Wave JS drives mode, setpoints, and fan locally once it is out of the dealer's panel.
Worth knowing about mainly because you will meet it on a takeover. It is the same Building 36 Technologies platform as the ADC-T3000 with the same stage, heat pump, and fuel type configuration parameters, and Z-Wave JS carries a device file for it, so an existing unit does not have to be replaced to bring a house into Home Assistant.
Inclusion is done from the thermostat rather than a pairing button: put it in Off mode, then hold the down button until the radio icon lights.
Set configuration parameter 26 to C-wire after wiring one in. Left on its battery default it sleeps between wake ups, so setpoint changes from Home Assistant queue rather than apply, and the unit does not repeat for its neighbours.
Specify the ADC-T3000 for new work. The older unit gives up the humidifier and dehumidifier outputs and the ventilation stage, and it is no longer sold new.
