The Amcrest IP5M-T1277EW-AI is a 5MP PoE turret with on-camera human and vehicle detection. RTSP and ONVIF are fully local, so Home Assistant and Frigate get the stream and events without any cloud dependency.
The value pick for whole-property PoE coverage: AI human/vehicle detection, IVS tripwire and intrusion rules, and dual-illumination night vision (IR plus warm white LED for full color). HA options: the Amcrest integration (local Dahua-style API, camera plus motion/crossline sensors) or ONVIF for the RTSP stream with PullPoint motion events. Set the stream to H.264 for HA, as the H.265 default will not play. IP67 metal housing, microSD slot, one-way audio. White and black (IP5M-T1277EB-AI) variants; PoE switch or injector required.
