The Aqara Camera Hub G5 Pro is an outdoor 1520p PoE or Wi-Fi camera with official RTSP, so Home Assistant can pull the stream over the LAN. It is also a Thread border router, Matter controller, and Zigbee hub in one housing.
The only Aqara camera with official RTSP: Aqara's launch notes name Home Assistant as a supported LAN client, so the Generic Camera integration gives a fully local stream (it also works with Apple Home, including HomeKit Secure Video on the PoE model). On-device AI detects people, packages, vehicles, and faces; clips land on 8GB of encrypted on-board storage with NAS support, no subscription needed. AI event notifications surface through the Aqara app rather than the RTSP stream. Sold as PoE (802.3af) or Wi-Fi versions; true color night vision with a 3W spotlight.
