Bridge Cozytouch
The Bridge Cozytouch is the gateway behind most of the installed Atlantic base: it joins the home network and speaks io-homecontrol to the heat pumps, water heaters, radiators, and ventilation. Home Assistant reads it through the Overkiz integration with Atlantic Cozytouch as the server, over the cloud only. Atlantic has since moved current radiators and towel rails to CozyBox, so the bridge is now a device to support rather than to specify.

One bridge covers a house: up to 20 appliances across 10 zones, with 5 appliances per zone, paired by scanning the QR code on each unit. The unit is a flat 172 by 72 by 16 mm box powered from USB or a small adaptor, so it lives next to the router rather than in the panel, and the two generations differ in how they get there, the original bridge by cable and the later one over Wi-Fi. In Home Assistant the appliances arrive as climate and water heater entities through the Overkiz cloud API, which is the whole story for Cozytouch: there is no local API for this bridge, so an internet outage or an Overkiz incident takes heating control with it while the appliances themselves keep running on their own schedules. Three things to check before quoting: since August 2026 CozyBox has replaced the bridge for radiators, towel rails, and some air-to-air heat pumps, and some current appliances connect over Wi-Fi with no gateway at all, so establish what the house actually has; Home Assistant's own documentation notes that some Cozytouch devices are not supported by the Overkiz platform; and appliances without built-in io radio need a Pass Cozytouch interface added behind them before the bridge can see them at all.
Hardware availability
Atlantic changed the gateway in August 2026: CozyBox replaces the Bridge Cozytouch for radiators, towel rails, and some air-to-air heat pumps, and several current appliances need no gateway because they connect over Wi-Fi directly. Bridges stay in service on the installed base. Either way Atlantic Cozytouch is cloud only, because Home Assistant’s local API covers Somfy and Rexel gateways, so an internet outage takes Atlantic control with it. Home Assistant also warns that some Cozytouch appliances are not supported by the Overkiz platform at all, which is worth checking per model number before an install is quoted on it.
