Daikin

Daikin mini-splits with one of the supported Daikin Wi-Fi adapters work with Selora and Home Assistant over the home network, with no Daikin account in the path. Each indoor unit becomes a climate control, and many models also report their energy use.

Hardware availability

Home Assistant’s Daikin integration covers specific Daikin adapters, and the US one it lists, the BRP072A43, is discontinued. Its replacement, the AZAI6WSCDKB, is not on that list: owners report mixed results, and some only got it working through community add-ons. Check which adapter a system has before quoting it.

BRP072A43

The BRP072A43 put Daikin Aurora, LV, NV and Emura mini-splits on Wi-Fi and the Daikin Comfort Control app. It is discontinued, but where one is already installed, Home Assistant controls the unit over the home network.
