The BRP072A43 put Daikin Aurora, LV, NV and Emura mini-splits on Wi-Fi and the Daikin Comfort Control app. It is discontinued, but where one is already installed, Home Assistant controls the unit over the home network.
This is the US Wi-Fi adapter Home Assistant’s Daikin integration lists, used with Aurora, LV, NV and Emura indoor units. Daikin has discontinued it in favor of the AZAI6WSCDKB, which that integration does not list, so this page is for systems that already have one.
Home Assistant talks to the adapter directly on the home network, with no Daikin account. If the adapter was set up with a password or an API key, enter it when adding the unit. Each indoor unit becomes a climate control with sensors, and many models also report their daily energy use for heating and cooling.
Not every model reports everything: some have no humidity reading, some do not report energy, and some do not support setting the fan speed or swing.
