X50 Ultra
Dreame's step-climbing flagship. With no core Home Assistant integration, its native path is the community dreame_vacuum integration over HACS, which runs in cloud or local mode. Valetudo is the fully cloud-free option on rootable boards.
Tier 3, cloud, with local options. The X50 Ultra is a capable robot (ProLeap step-climbing legs, high suction, hot-water mop dock). Home Assistant has no core Dreame integration, so the native path is the community HACS `dreame_vacuum` integration. It connects over the Dreame cloud or, on the same subnet, locally with the device token, and provides a vacuum entity, live map, and room cleaning. For a build with no cloud at all, reflash with Valetudo, which exposes a full MQTT vacuum entity (start, pause, stop, return_to_base, clean_spot, locate, set_fan_speed, send_command) plus live map over the LAN, with per-room cleaning once segments are mapped to Home Assistant areas. Rooting is not guaranteed on every unit. Only specific PCB revisions are supported, and near-identical Dreame model names can have opposite outcomes, so verify the exact serial against the Valetudo supported-robots list before buying. For privacy-critical installs, use it only where a Valetudo-rootable board is confirmed.
