Deebot X8 Pro Omni
An Ecovacs flagship with a self-washing roller mop. The core Ecovacs integration is cloud-based, so control and map data flow through Ecovacs servers and stop responding to Home Assistant when the cloud is unreachable.
Tier 3, cloud. The Deebot X8 Pro Omni features the OZMO Roller self-washing mop, TruEdge edge cleaning, 18,000 Pa suction, and a hot-water-wash/hot-air-dry Omni station. Home Assistant's core Ecovacs integration (IoT class cloud push) exposes a vacuum entity (start, pause, stop, return_to_base, clean_spot, locate, set_fan_speed, send_command), with per-room/segment cleaning where the app's maps are available, but every command and the live map are relayed through Ecovacs' cloud, so nothing works when those servers or the internet are down. It is a capable current robot, but with no local-control path it is not recommended for privacy-critical or offline-resilient installs.
