Microinverters have no network interface of their own: they report over powerline to the IQ Gateway, which Home Assistant polls locally via enphase_envoy for aggregate and per-inverter production, voltage, and temperature. Industry-first grid-forming design: with an IQ System Controller, IQ8 systems can form a microgrid during an outage. One page covers the series; pick the variant to match panel wattage, from IQ8 at 245 VA to IQ8P at 480 VA. The newer IQ9 series is rolling out through the same gateway-based architecture.
