A KNX wall push button with two rockers and colored status LEDs, with a built-in temperature sensor and scene memory. Home Assistant can react to its presses through the KNX integration.
Two rockers that switch, dim brightness and color temperature, control color, move blinds, send values or recall scenes, and it stores up to eight scenes itself. Its status LEDs can glow in eight colors, flash red together on an alarm, and work as a night orientation light. It also measures the room temperature and can adjust a room thermostat elsewhere on the bus.
It ships with a plain start-up rocker. The finished rocker set is ordered separately to match the room’s switch range. This model is new from November 2026 and replaces the 5042 00.
It is programmed in ETS first. In Home Assistant, its group addresses can be added in the KNX panel, so a press can trigger an automation as well as the lights it is linked to.

Movie Mode
Installs a Home Assistant automation that dims the lights when the TV starts playing and brings them back when it stops. Add shades to close, a soundbar to power on, a scene button to trigger it by hand, and dimmable accent lights.
Window Open HVAC Pause
Installs a Home Assistant automation that turns the thermostat off when a window is left open, so you are not heating or cooling the street, and turns it back to the mode it was in once every window is shut. Add door sensors and a temperature sensor for the full picture.
