iTach Flex FLEX-WF
The iTach Flex FLEX-WF is the Wi-Fi version of the Flex gateway, a gum-pack-sized endpoint whose role is set by the Flex Link cable fitted to it. With an IR cable it answers Home Assistant's itach remote platform; with the relay and sensor cable it answers the gc100 platforms.
Works on integrations
Same Flex Link cable range as the FLEX-IP, one cable at a time: FLC-3E, FLC-2E1B, FLC-BL and FLC-T3 for IR, FLC-SL-232 and FLC-SL-485 for serial, FLC-RS for relay and sensor. The radio is 802.11b/g with WPA/WPA2 and WPS, so it needs a 2.4 GHz SSID, and it should have a DHCP reservation because both Home Assistant integrations are configured by IP address. Setup is easiest over the ad-hoc peer-to-peer network the unit raises before it joins Wi-Fi. The TCP API is iTach and GC-100 compatible by design: the three IR channels answer `sendir` at `1:1` through `1:3`, matching the `modaddr` and `connaddr` the itach platform expects, and the FLC-RS logical relay ports answer `setstate` on module 1, ports 1 to 4, matching the gc100 `'x:y': name` mapping. An HTTP/JSON API is available for `rest_command` use. Built-in IR learning and Control Tower database access are included. Power is 5V DC or the included USB micro cable; PoE is a FLEX-IP-P feature and is not available on the Wi-Fi model.
Hardware availability
Global Caché is rebuilding its website and the per-model product pages are offline as of August 2026, so the purchase links here point at the manufacturer’s North America distributor list. The iTach, iTach Flex, and Global Connect families are current. The GC-100 network adapters are legacy: they are no longer promoted on the manufacturer’s product page but remain widely deployed and are still sold through distribution and the secondary market.
