iTach IP2CC
The iTach IP2CC puts three dry-contact relays on a wired network, for the gate operators, fireplaces, screens, and pool equipment that only accept a momentary or maintained contact. Home Assistant drives Global Caché relays through the gc100 integration's switch platform.

Three integrated relays with transient voltage suppression on a pluggable screw terminal, rated 24V AC/DC at 0.5 A, normally open. These are isolated low-voltage dry contacts, not load-switching relays: they close a circuit for equipment that expects a contact, and they cannot switch a mains load. The IP2CC-P is the same unit with 802.3af PoE. Home Assistant reaches the relays through the gc100 integration, whose `switch` platform maps each relay by module and port as `'x:y': name`. Home Assistant documents gc100 against the GC-100 adapters, but the iTach implements the same Global Caché TCP API on port 4998, and the published addressing differs only in the module number: an IP2CC answers `setstate` on module 1, ports 1 to 3, where a GC-100-12 uses module 3. The contacts are maintained, not momentary. `setstate` holds a relay in its new state until it is set back, and the API's optional period parameter is what produces a timed pulse, so gate and garage triggers that expect a momentary contact need either that period or an automation that releases the relay. The integration is local-polling and cannot run concurrently with a second gc100 connection to the same unit.
Hardware availability
Global Caché is rebuilding its website and the per-model product pages are offline as of August 2026, so the purchase links here point at the manufacturer’s North America distributor list. The iTach, iTach Flex, and Global Connect families are current. The GC-100 network adapters are legacy: they are no longer promoted on the manufacturer’s product page but remain widely deployed and are still sold through distribution and the secondary market.
