The Hikvision DS-2CD2086G2-IU is a 4K AcuSense mini bullet with deep-learning human and vehicle classification. Local RTSP and ONVIF-profile streams pair with Home Assistant's Hikvision event sensors, with no cloud involved.
AcuSense filters motion, line-crossing, and intrusion alerts down to humans and vehicles on-camera, and the Hikvision integration turns those events into HA binary sensors alongside the RTSP stream (enable Notify Surveillance Center per event). DarkFighter low-light sensor with 40m smart IR; the -U variant adds a microphone. Compliance note: NDAA Section 889 bans Hikvision for US federal procurement and federally contracted sites, and the FCC stopped granting new equipment authorizations in November 2022: fine for private homes, a hard no for government-adjacent work. IP67, 802.3af PoE, microSD to 256GB.
