The Gen 1 Dimmer Switch with Scenes (NZW31-S) is a discontinued Z-Wave Plus in-wall dimmer that adds multi-tap scene reporting to the plain NZW31. Z-Wave JS still drives it locally.

Discontinued. Same wiring as the NZW31, with a mandatory neutral and 500W incandescent single-gang derating to 400W double and 300W triple, plus central scene reporting for multi-tap on the paddle. It is the Gen 1 dimmer to keep in a partially retrofitted site because it can still trigger scenes for other devices. No energy reporting and no LED bar. Z-Wave JS lists it as NZW31S without the hyphen. No retail page remains; the manual lives on the Inovelli help center.
