Insteon
Hub 2245-222
The Insteon Hub (2245-222) is the LAN controller that lets Home Assistant drive an Insteon powerline and RF network locally. It puts dual-band Insteon devices on your network for Home Assistant to control, with no Insteon cloud.
Home Assistant connects to the Hub over the LAN (port 25105). You can also skip the Hub and use a PLM PowerLinc Modem (2413U USB or 2413S serial) on the Home Assistant host instead. Either way, control is fully local with no cloud subscription. The paid Insteon app is only for remote access. Devices must be linked into the all-link database before they appear in Home Assistant. Sold new by the revived Insteon and secondary-market.
