The Insteon Mini Remote (2342-222) is a battery-powered handheld scene controller. Its button presses arrive in Home Assistant as events for Selora AI scene control rather than as entities.
A wireless RF remote with a rechargeable battery and eight scene buttons (the 2342-222 8-Scene model). It is a battery device and RF-only, and needs a dual-band Insteon device within range to reach the Hub or PLM. In Home Assistant its presses fire insteon.button_on and insteon.button_off events, not entities. Local, no cloud, after all-link linking. Sold new by the revived Insteon and secondary-market.
