The Insteon Motion Sensor II (2844-222) is a battery PIR that reports motion, ambient light, and temperature. Local Insteon alerts keep triggering recipes even when the internet is down.
A battery-powered PIR with light-level and temperature reporting. It is RF-only and needs a dual-band Insteon device in range to bridge it onto the powerline. Reports locally through an Insteon Hub or PLM with no cloud, after all-link linking. Reissued by the revived Insteon (periodically restocked) and available secondary-market.
