The Insteon Open/Close Sensor (2843-222) is a battery contact sensor for doors and windows. It reports open and closed locally for security and lighting recipes.
A small battery-powered magnetic contact sensor. It is RF-only and needs a dual-band Insteon device within range to bridge it onto the powerline. Reports open and closed locally through an Insteon Hub or PLM with no cloud, once linked into the all-link database. Sold new by the revived Insteon and secondary-market.
