The Kwikset Home Connect 620 is a Z-Wave 700-series keypad deadbolt with S2 security and SmartStart. Home Assistant controls it fully locally on Z-Wave JS and can manage its 250 user codes for guests, cleaners, and rentals.
Include with S2 secure inclusion (SmartStart QR pairing is supported). Lock control does not work over an insecure pairing. Home Assistant gets lock and unlock, battery, jam notifications, keypad events, and management of 250 PIN slots through Z-Wave JS user-code actions, which makes it a favorite for rental and multi-tenant automation. The 700-series radio is backward compatible with older controllers. Kwikset's Halo line looks similar but is Wi-Fi and cloud-only. For local control stay with the Z-Wave models.
