Joins a ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT coordinator directly with the same feature set as the SmartCode deadbolts: lock and unlock, battery, PIN code management, and keypad events on Zigbee2MQTT. Pair it near the coordinator. It is a sleepy battery device. Four AA batteries. If the site runs Thread rather than Zigbee, the Aqara U300 fills the same lever niche over Matter.
