Smart Top Control Dishwasher with QuadWash Pro

Selora recommended SKU LDPS6762S

The LDPS6762S is LG's flagship top-control dishwasher for 2026: QuadWash Pro high-pressure jets, TrueSteam, and Dynamic Dry behind a height-adjustable third rack. Home Assistant reaches it through the cloud lg_thinq integration, which is a genuinely good monitoring surface: cycle, status, remaining time, door, and rinse aid level all report as entities.

Roles it can fill
There is no local integration for LG appliances: lg_thinq is cloud_push and needs a Personal Access Token generated in the LG ThinQ developer portal, scoped for device view, status, control, event subscription, and energy inquiry, with the region set to match the client's LG account. Generate the token on the client's own account during commissioning rather than your own, or it walks out of the door with you. What you get is a rich set of entities: sensors for current cycle, status, remaining and total time, rinse aid and softening level, and delayed start; binary sensors for the door, the clean indicator, machine-clean reminder, and whether Remote Start is armed; plus an operation button, a mode select, and a power switch. The Remote Start binary sensor is the one that matters for automation design, because the cycle cannot be started from Home Assistant unless someone armed the machine at the panel first. Build off-peak scheduling around that: arm at load time, release when the rate drops, and notify if the machine was never armed.
