The LG OLED evo G6 is LG's flagship gallery-design OLED (2026), built to mount flush to the wall. Home Assistant's local webostv integration controls it as a media_player: power, volume, HDMI input, and app launch, so a gallery wall can double as the centerpiece of movie-night scenes and playback-aware lighting.
Local control via webostv (local push) after accepting a one-time pairing prompt on the TV. Power-on uses Wake-on-LAN: enable it during commissioning and prefer wired Ethernet for reliable wake. Playback, volume, input switching, and app launch all work locally with no LG account.
