OLED evo AI W6

SKU OLED83W6PUA

The LG OLED evo W6 is the wireless flagship of the 2026 range: a 9.9mm wallpaper panel that sits flush to the wall while a separate Zero Connect Box carries every source over a 4K 165Hz wireless link. Home Assistant's local webostv integration controls it exactly like any other LG set, which makes it the cleanest way to put a screen on a wall that has no equipment behind it.

Roles it can fill
Local control via webostv (local push) after a one-time on-screen pairing prompt, with no LG account. The integration difference from a wired LG set is entirely physical: every connection lives on the Zero Connect Box, not the panel. The box carries the HDMI inputs, USB, RS-232C, optical out, IR blaster, antenna, and the LAN port, so the structured cabling drop belongs at the box location, in the rack or credenza, and never behind the panel. The panel itself takes nothing but mains power. Plan the low-voltage rough-in around that split, because a wall plate with an Ethernet drop behind the screen is a wasted run on this model. Keep the box within about 30 feet of the panel with clear line of sight, since the wireless link is directional and degrades behind closed cabinetry. For Wake-on-LAN, read the MAC address out of the TV's own network settings for the interface actually in use and record it at commissioning; the wired and wireless MACs differ, and pairing the magic packet with the wrong one is a common cause of a set that pairs correctly but refuses to power on. On 2025 and newer webOS sets, Wake-on-LAN also has to be enabled explicitly under Settings > Support > IP control settings. Both the panel and the box need mains power, which catches out installs planned around a single outlet behind the wall plate.
