A single-unit WashTower in black steel: a 5.0 cu. ft. washer below a 7.4 cu. ft. electric dryer, run from one control panel in the middle. It connects to Home Assistant through LG ThinQ and fills both the washer and dryer roles.
The WashTower takes the footprint of one machine, which suits a closet or a small laundry room. The dryer needs a 240 V circuit and the washer a 120 V outlet, and the dryer vents three ways. It is ENERGY STAR certified.
Home Assistant reaches it through LG’s ThinQ cloud, so it needs an internet connection and a personal access token created with the homeowner’s LG account. It reports its current status, the time remaining, and an event when a cycle finishes or a fault occurs, and Home Assistant can start or pause a cycle. LG’s energy figures arrive once a day, up to yesterday, so they suit monthly totals rather than live power.
