An 8-channel KNX switch actuator for the distribution board, switching lights and loads up to 16 A per channel. Home Assistant controls each channel as a switch or a light through its KNX integration.
Eight relays in one DIN rail module, six units wide, each rated for 16 A, so a whole floor of lighting circuits fits in one device. The same series comes in 2 to 24 channels. Each channel has its own button and LED on the front, so an electrician can switch it by hand at the board.
Like any KNX device, it is programmed in ETS first. In Home Assistant, each channel is then added as a switch or a light in the KNX panel, using the group addresses from the ETS project. Home Assistant does not find KNX devices on its own.
The actuator also handles timers, staircase lighting and scenes itself, so those keep working on the KNX bus even when Home Assistant is offline.
