Include with S2 secure inclusion: Z-Wave locks pair insecurely but will not accept lock commands without it. Home Assistant gets lock and unlock, battery, bolt-jam and forced-entry alarm notifications, keypad events with the user slot, and full management of 30 PIN codes. No door position sensor, so pair it with a contact sensor. The similar-looking Encode and Encode Plus are Wi-Fi locks on Schlage's cloud. This Z-Wave model is the local one.
