Local over Z-Wave (Z-Wave JS), no cloud. Four dry-contact inputs trigger up to 12 scenes or actions; available in AC (110-240V) and DC (5-24V) mains-powered variants with Z-Wave Plus / Z-Wave 800 Long Range and S2 (AES128) security; the mains-powered AC device repeats the Z-Wave mesh in standard (non-Long Range) mode.

Presses on this device reach Home Assistant as device triggers through
the
Z-Wave
integration, which you pick in the automation editor after pairing.
The button list, and whether each button also becomes an
event
entity, comes from what the device reports at pairing time, so it
appears once the device is on the network.
