Transformerless grid-tied string inverter for US split-phase homes, in power classes from 3.0 to 7.7 kW with peak efficiency over 97%. A set-and-forget workhorse line with a long track record in hot climates and Secure Power Supply for a daytime outlet during outages.
The core sma integration polls the inverter's WebConnect interface locally over Ethernet or Wi-Fi, authenticated with the user or installer group password: DC/AC power, per-phase metrics, and daily and lifetime yield with no cloud dependency. Note the newer ennexOS-based SMA models (Sunny Boy Smart Energy, Tripower X) use a different platform that this integration does not support. For local monitoring, spec the US-41 line.
