Roles it can fill
A Texas Instruments CC2652P7 radio at +20 dBm behind a CP2102N USB to serial bridge, with a rotatable +3 dB external antenna on an 18mm by 54mm by 10mm stick. It ships pre-flashed with Zigbee coordinator firmware and comes up on ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT as a plain serial device, which makes it the straightforward pick for a hub that has a free USB port and no reason to put the radio on the network. Give it a short USB 2.0 extension cable to clear USB 3.0 ports and SSDs, whose 2.4 GHz noise cripples Zigbee, and expect no web UI or diagnostics entities, since those live on the ESP32-based SLZB-06 and SLZB-MR adapters. Where the radio needs to sit away from the hub, an SLZB-06p7U does the same job over Ethernet or PoE.
