SolarEdge
Home Battery 400V
DC-coupled LFP home battery storing 9.7 kWh per unit, stackable up to three per inverter for 29 kWh. One of the first residential batteries to pass UL9540A unit-level fire testing, permitting indoor installation, and DC-coupling keeps round-trip losses low by skipping a conversion step.
Roles it can fill
No network interface of its own: it DC-couples to a SolarEdge Home Hub or Home Wave inverter, and Home Assistant reads state of charge and charge/discharge power through the inverter's local Modbus TCP registers (or the slower cloud API). Requires a battery-ready SolarEdge inverter; monitoring arrives with the same local setup as the inverter, no extra integration work.
