myLink
myLink is the North American RTS bridge Somfy sold before TaHoma, and it is the one Somfy product that does not go through Overkiz: Home Assistant talks to it with the dedicated Somfy MyLink integration over the local network. It is obsolete hardware that is still worth supporting, because the installed base is large.
Works on integrations
The integration to reach for is `somfy_mylink`, not Overkiz, and it drives the bridge through its local Synergy API rather than a Somfy cloud account, which is the one advantage myLink has over the boxes that replaced it. Setup is a config flow that wants the bridge's address and its system ID, so give the bridge a DHCP reservation before adding it. Everything behind it is RTS and therefore assumed state: covers accept open, close, and stop, report nothing back, and occasionally arrive with up and down reversed, which the integration's options let you flip per cover rather than by rewiring anything. Somfy lists myLink obsolete and points new work at the TaHoma switch, which has both a supported cloud API and a local API. On an existing myLink, keep it and integrate it locally; when it is replaced, plan for the RTS channels to be re-onboarded onto the new hub.
Hardware availability
TaHoma switch is the current hub in both Europe and North America, in two regional variants: the European unit adds io-homecontrol to RTS and Zigbee, the North American unit is RTS and Zigbee only because io-homecontrol is not sold there. TaHoma v2 and the Connexoon boxes are no longer marketed, and Somfy’s own product page labels the Connexoon box discontinued, but both stay supported by Home Assistant and both still answer the local API. Somfy myLink is listed obsolete on the Somfy store. Motors are ordered through Somfy dealers and shade fabricators rather than retail, so several of the links below are manufacturer product pages rather than storefronts.
