Roles it can fill
Built on the Texas Instruments CC2652P radio with a +20 dBm power amplifier and a removable SMA antenna, and ships pre-flashed with Z-Stack coordinator firmware. It is a Zigbee-only coordinator that runs on ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT. Its TI Z-Stack firmware has a longer track record in Home Assistant than the ZBDongle-E's EmberZNet. It is the recommended Sonoff Zigbee stick. Give it a short USB 2.0 extension cable to clear USB 3.0 ports and SSDs, whose 2.4 GHz noise cripples Zigbee.
