SPAN makes smart electrical panels that replace the home's breaker panel, measuring and switching every circuit. The SPAN Panel custom integration connects Home Assistant to the panel over the local network through SPAN's own API, so circuit-level power, energy, and on/off control arrive without a cloud round trip.

Hardware availability

SPAN Panels are sold and installed only through SPAN Authorized Installers, and they replace the existing main panel. Home Assistant can connect only to the SPAN Panel MAIN 32 for now: SPAN plans to open its API on the MAIN 16, MAIN 40, MLO 24, and MLO 48, but has not done so yet, so confirm the model before quoting the job.
