Tesla's flagship 48A Level 2 home charger with a NACS connector, delivering up to 11.5 kW on a 60A circuit. Its local API on Wi-Fi gives Home Assistant real-time charging telemetry and session energy with no cloud account.
The core tesla_wall_connector integration polls the charger's local HTTP API over Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz only, no Ethernet): charging state, session and lifetime energy, per-phase voltage and current, and temperatures, all Energy-dashboard ready. Monitoring is fully local; starting, stopping, and amperage changes go through the vehicle or Tesla app. Output is configurable from 12A to 48A to match the breaker; 24 ft cable. Requires the Wi-Fi-equipped Gen 3 unit; older Gen 1/2 Wall Connectors have no local API.
