A KNX room thermostat with a rotary knob, controlling heating and cooling, with four inputs for ordinary switches and sensors. Home Assistant controls it as a thermostat through the KNX integration.
A surface-mounted thermostat with a knob set from 10 to 30 °C, and red and blue LEDs showing heating or cooling. It can run two heating stages, such as underfloor heating plus radiators, or heating and cooling. A button switches between comfort, standby, night and frost protection.
Four inputs take ordinary switches, a window contact, a presence signal or an external temperature sensor.
It is programmed in ETS first. In Home Assistant, it is then added as a climate control in the KNX panel, using the group addresses from the ETS project.
Recipes using this device
Presence Thermostat Setback
Installs a Home Assistant automation that eases your thermostat into an energy-saving preset once everyone has left, and brings it back to a comfort preset the moment someone returns. Add extra occupancy sensors and any one of them counts as home.
Window Open HVAC Pause
Installs a Home Assistant automation that turns the thermostat off when a window is left open, so you are not heating or cooling the street, and turns it back to the mode it was in once every window is shut. Add door sensors and a temperature sensor for the full picture.
