An 8-channel KNX switch actuator for the distribution board, 16 A per channel, expandable to 24 channels. Home Assistant controls each channel as a switch or a light through its KNX integration.
Eight 16 A relays in a DIN rail module four units wide, rated for up to 600 W of LED lighting per channel. Up to two extension modules add channels, for 24 in total.
The KNX bus module clips off the front, so the actuator can be replaced without reprogramming it. Without the bus module, the channels can still be switched by hand at the board, with an LED showing each channel’s state.
It is programmed in ETS first. In Home Assistant, each channel is then added as a switch or a light in the KNX panel, using the group addresses from the ETS project.
