The Gen2 metering model exposes real power, voltage, current, and cumulative energy, which feeds energy dashboards and cycle-finish automations from the load itself. It is mains powered and acts as a Zigbee router that strengthens the mesh for nearby battery sensors. Power-on restore state is configurable in both ZHA and zigbee2mqtt. Pairs directly with ZHA or zigbee2mqtt, fully local.
