On the supported list for the Home Assistant tplink integration, which polls locally every 5 seconds with no cloud round trip and reports real time power plus consumption history for the energy dashboard. 15A and 1800W max, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only, so count one access point client per plug when you scale a floor. Onboard it in the Kasa app first; current firmware authenticates local access with your TP-Link cloud email and password, which the integration asks for during setup and treats as case sensitive. Matter commissioning is the alternative if the plug must also answer to Apple Home or SmartThings, but the tplink integration stays the fuller path for energy history.
