A 2K QHD camera rated IP66 that can go indoors or out, with color night vision and free on-device person, pet and vehicle detection. Streams locally over RTSP and ONVIF.
2560x1440 on a starlight sensor with dual spotlights for color night video, plus an invisible IR mode for nurseries and bedrooms, IP66 and rated from -4F to 113F, with microSD storage and no subscription. Two local paths: adopt it in the tplink integration, or enable the camera account and third party access in the Tapo app and come in over ONVIF. The ONVIF integration is configured with the camera host, port and camera account and discovers the stream profiles itself; Frigate and the Generic Camera integration take the URLs directly instead, rtsp://ADDRESS/stream1 for the main stream and /stream2 for a dashboard friendly sub stream. Give it a static lease, since every path reaches the camera by address. There is no Ethernet port on this model and no PoE: it is Wi-Fi only on a 5V DC adapter, so every position needs an outlet and usable 2.4GHz coverage, which is the thing that decides most exterior placements. Where an exterior run wants a wired network side, step up to the C325WB or C520WS.
