An 806 lumen E26 color bulb with 2500K to 6500K white and full dimming, at the price point that makes whole house color lighting reasonable. Local control from Home Assistant.
60W equivalent at 806 lumens, 16 million colors, 1 to 100 percent dimming, 15,000 hour rating, no hub. Adopted by the tplink integration for local polling once the bulb is provisioned in the Tapo app. The brighter Matter sibling, the L535E at 1055 lumens, is not on the integration's supported device list, so specify the L530E where Home Assistant is the controller. Each bulb is a separate 2.4GHz client, and it only answers while it has power, which rules out pairing it with an ordinary relay switch: no Kasa or Tapo wall switch can hold its relay closed, so switching the fixture at the wall drops the bulb off the network and recreates the problem. Keep the leg always hot and put the wall control on a wire-free scene controller such as a Lutron Caséta Pico, or use a dimmer that offers a smart bulb or detached mode so the paddle sends events instead of opening the relay.
