Control runs through the nexia integration (cloud polling) and requires an American Standard Home account and an internet connection. It has a 4.3-inch color touchscreen, 2 cooling and 5 heating stages, and a built-in Z-Wave bridge for other devices. It is built for standard, non-zoned single-stage, two-stage, and multi-speed systems, not variable-speed or zoned setups.
