American Standard's AccuLink Platinum 850 (AZONE850) is the American Standard version of the Trane XL850, a communicating thermostat with a 4.3-inch color touchscreen, Wi-Fi, and a built-in Z-Wave hub. In Home Assistant it is cloud-only through the nexia integration.
The American Standard version of the Trane XL850. Cloud-only in Home Assistant. The Trane Local integration does not cover it. Control runs through the nexia integration (cloud polling) and requires an American Standard Home account and an internet connection. It has a 4.3-inch color touchscreen and a built-in Z-Wave bridge for other devices. It works with American Standard variable-speed communicating systems but is not a zoning controller. For local control, the Platinum 1050 is the American Standard thermostat to pick.
