ComfortLink II XL824 smart thermostat with a 4.3-inch color touchscreen, Wi-Fi, and a built-in Z-Wave hub, for standard non-zoned HVAC systems. In Home Assistant it is cloud-only through the nexia integration and needs a Nexia or Trane Home account.
Cloud-only in Home Assistant. The Trane Local integration does not cover the XL824. Control runs through the nexia integration (cloud polling) and requires a Nexia or Trane Home account and an internet connection. It has a 4.3-inch color touchscreen, five heating stages, and a built-in Z-Wave bridge for other devices. It is built for standard, non-zoned single-stage, two-stage, and multi-speed systems, not variable-speed or zoned setups.
