ComfortLink II XL850 communicating thermostat with a 4.3-inch color touchscreen, Wi-Fi, and a built-in Z-Wave hub. In Home Assistant it is cloud-only through the nexia integration and needs a Nexia or Trane Home account.
Cloud-only in Home Assistant. The Trane Local integration does not cover the XL850. Control runs through the nexia integration (cloud polling) and requires a Nexia or Trane Home account and an internet connection. It has a 4.3-inch color touchscreen and a built-in Z-Wave bridge for other devices. It works with Trane variable-speed communicating systems but is not a zoning controller.
