The UniFi G5 Turret Ultra is a compact 4MP PoE turret for dense, budget-conscious Protect deployments. Home Assistant's local UniFi Protect integration exposes its stream, motion sensor, and smart detection events.
The low-power (4W PoE) workhorse for covering many rooms or eaves on one switch. Requires a UniFi Protect console (Cloud Key Gen2+, UNVR, or Dream Machine); HA connects to the console locally with a local admin account. Person, vehicle, and animal detections are on-camera; no face or license-plate recognition on the Ultra tier. IP66, microphone only.
