The UniFi G6 Bullet is a 4K PoE bullet camera that records to a UniFi Protect console on-site. Home Assistant's local UniFi Protect integration exposes its streams plus person, vehicle, and animal detection events.
Requires a UniFi Protect console (Cloud Key Gen2+, UNVR, or Dream Machine); Protect cameras cannot connect to Home Assistant standalone. Everything stays local: video records to the console and HA talks to it with a local admin account (Protect v6+). The G6 AI engine adds face and license-plate recognition to smart detection events. IP66 weatherproof, 802.3af PoE, microphone only (no two-way audio).
