Ubiwizz
Ubiwizz is the smart building brand of the French group Decelect, and it resells the Overkiz platform to electrical installers as a DIN-rail gateway that goes into the communication panel. The WizzBox is multiprotocol, bridging EnOcean, io-homecontrol, RTS, and Z-Wave equipment, which is how a mixed-brand retrofit ends up behind one controller. Home Assistant connects through the Overkiz integration with Ubiwizz selected as the server.
Hardware availability
Ubiwizz is cloud only in Home Assistant: local API support covers Somfy and Rexel gateways, and Ubiwizz is not one of them. The hardware is sold through electrical distribution rather than retail, and Ubiwizz is also a partner in builder programmes such as Bouygues Immobilier’s Flexom, so the label on the panel is the quickest way to tell which platform a home is actually on.
