The Ultraloq Bolt Z-Wave is the first Z-Wave Long Range smart lock, on an 800-series radio with S2 and SmartStart. Home Assistant controls it fully locally on Z-Wave JS, with an anti-peep keypad and managed user codes.
U-tec pitches this lock at Home Assistant users directly, and the 800-series radio does Z-Wave Long Range on compatible controllers while staying mesh-compatible with older ones. Include with S2 secure inclusion (SmartStart QR supported), required for lock control. Home Assistant gets lock and unlock, battery, keypad events, and PIN management via Z-Wave JS user-code actions. Keypad plus physical key backup, no fingerprint reader. It replaces the discontinued U-Bolt Pro Z-Wave; the identical-looking U-Bolt Pro Wi-Fi and Bluetooth-bridge models are cloud-bound; avoid them for local installs.
