The core victron_gx integration (Home Assistant 2026.5+) connects over local MQTT with auto-discovery: enable MQTT on the GX and battery voltage, current, state of charge, solar yield, grid power, and inverter state stream in as push updates. Venus OS also serves Modbus TCP for the core modbus integration as an alternative. Connects Victron gear via VE.Bus, VE.Direct, CAN, and NMEA 2000; the VRM cloud portal stays available but is optional.
